Feeling a little bit sequestered in here at the moment, which I suppose is alright, but I've grown accustomed to living in a small, close-knit community of sorts, and this is taking a little getting used to. Even though I was rather particular about who I associated with at the lodge, I'm still used to having a bunch of people around all the time.
I've been doing some art, mostly drawings for other people. I'm contemplating some writing time, actually, now that I have some time for it. I have to get my thoughts in gear though-- I've been so scatterbrained since getting back.
I'm packing away the Emergen-C like mad to avoid catching the flu that's going around the household. So far, I've managed to stave it off. I hope that continues to be the case!
I'm hoping to get to Wal-Mart tomorrow so I can purchase a bookshelf. I have boxes and boxes of my things scattered all over the room in here, and I have nowhere to put it all. It's mostly books! And art supplies. One can easily tell what my priorities are! This place is so very, very cluttered right now, though. I think I'll try to re-arrange the furniture in here when I am able to situate things.
Well, I think I'm going to go through some of my writing-in-progress files on here and see what I can find to work on. Ciao!
