After some further thought, I'm going to be instigating Free Sketch Day as a weekly event, held every Tuesday. So, do be sure to drop by here this coming Tuesday, and bring along your one word prompts!
Each sketch that is created in these events will be available for crowdfunding, if anyone wants to see a finished piece. (For pricing info, see this post.)

Donors will have the option to receive a free unframed photo print of the image through Zazzle; sizing will vary according to amount donated. I thought I'd try something new. It's just an experiment so far, and I'm going to keep it restricted to a certain number of hours until I can gain a feel for how quickly I can work, but I'm going to give it a go and see how it works out. I may make a weekly thing of it.
From the time this entry posts until 5 p.m. Central Time, my blog will be open to one-word sketch prompts.
If you give a prompt, the sketch is yours to download full size and do with as you will (I'll send you a link in a private message). Feel free to post it to your blog or web site, though I do ask that you give credit and link back here. All sketches from the prompt will be posted in a smaller size in comments, and will be gathered in a separate post at completion of Free Sketch Day.
