I spent much of yesterday re-vamping my web site. It's still under construction, but it's coming along I think. I still need to work on the web copy a bit, and put up commission info (which, incidentally, can still be found on this blog right here).
I seem to be in more of an administrative/marketing mode these last few days. That's good, actually-- I needed to catch up on that. Delving into art itself is wonderful but if you don't set up a way to share it, not much good will come of it. Still, I may work on a painting later today.
I've been in a strange between-place in regards to my creativity. I've felt a bit drained artistically, but still kicking. Inspiration has been low, so I've been working on a lot of projects that have been in the works for awhile, or re-vamping older pieces, or creating fan art and writing. It isn't ideal, but at least it keeps me going and might serve to coax the muse back to the surface. Most of it isn't even really worth showing, though, in my opinion-- although I'm aware I often nitpick my own work far too much.
On the agenda today: Finish up web site. Post updated character art commission info to various places. Creative time-- maybe the pastel painting I have in the works, or maybe some work on Veil, or both.
