Open For Business!

It is ten a.m., which means that I am open for business!  I am accepting commission work as follows:


1)  Black and white sketch of a character.  $10. 

2) Colorized sketch of a character: $20. 

3) Detailed illustration: Black and White.  $40.

4)  Digitally painted illustration:  $100-300, depending on complexity.

To avoid copyright disputes, I only create illustrations of original characters (i.e., no previously published characters, such as from DC comics or such).

I'm posting a "donate" button here to make payment easier.  I'm also screening comments to preserve privacy.

If you want a commission done, you can take these steps:

1)  Post a reply to this entry with the image type you want, and as detailed description of the character in question that you can, and your email info.  Again, comments are screened for your privacy.

2)  When I receive your commission request, I'll do the art and send you the completed image via email attachment. 

3)  At that point, if you're satisfied, just drop me a note to let me know, and I'll email you a transaction receipt for your records.

4)  Come back to my LJ to click the "Donate Now" button for payment, and leave a comment to let me know it was you so I can keep track of what's going where in my own records.

I'll be taking commissions all day today, or until I reach a number that I can feasibly handle.  Do allow at least a day (or two, if I have a heavier work load) for completion, please-- art takes time! Edit: Full-blown digitally painted illustrations will take much longer-- expect up to a month for those.

It's rather quiet today. Feeling a little bit sequestered in here at the moment, which I suppose is alright, but I've grown accustomed to living in a small, close-knit community of sorts, and this is taking a little getting used to. Even though I was rather particular about who I associated with at the lodge, I'm still used to having a bunch of people around all the time.

I've been doing some art, mostly drawings for other people. I'm contemplating some writing time, actually, now that I have some time for it. I have to get my thoughts in gear though-- I've been so scatterbrained since getting back.

I'm packing away the Emergen-C like mad to avoid catching the flu that's going around the household. So far, I've managed to stave it off. I hope that continues to be the case!

I'm hoping to get to Wal-Mart tomorrow so I can purchase a bookshelf. I have boxes and boxes of my things scattered all over the room in here, and I have nowhere to put it all. It's mostly books! And art supplies. One can easily tell what my priorities are! This place is so very, very cluttered right now, though. I think I'll try to re-arrange the furniture in here when I am able to situate things.

Well, I think I'm going to go through some of my writing-in-progress files on here and see what I can find to work on. Ciao!
